Method
If you delete the entire chat where the image was generated, the corresponding image will also be removed from the ChatGPT Library!
On the other hand, as of this writing (June 2025), there is no way to delete just the image directly from the Library tab.
Let’s Try It
Let’s actually try deleting an image from the ChatGPT Library.
First, generate an image in a new chat.
The generated image will appear in the ChatGPT Library tab like this:
Now, delete the chat where the image was generated.
Click the three-dot icon next to the chat name and select "Delete."
Once the chat is deleted, the corresponding image will be removed from the Library.
